About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding nemo (?) Like seriously, I love scuba diving!

ABOUT ME
I love to learn new things, from cooking to astronomy, rock climbing, magic, fly fishing, bird watching, meditation, sailing, playing ping pong... I think you get it, right? This also applies to meeting new people =)
Always positive and outgoing, I love nature so I find myself exploring Patagonia's greenest places over and over again.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you want to see in the world =) Seeding love, dreams, peace and good vibes to harvest them when the right time comes.

"Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn... Go climb that goddamn mountain."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer hosting for 1 or 2 surfers =) Must be OK wih cats!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've started hosting a few years ago and have been having great experiences with the incoming surfers and I'm really looking forward to meet more bold, daring and inspiring people.

You know, I can't go out and travel the world every time I want to. But for sure I can bring the world to my living room whenever I please :)

The pandemic changed plans more than a bit and catalyzed my definitive settling in Patagonia. I recently moved back to the small town where I grew up, after spending 1 year living in the norwegian west coast. I still have to explore and rediscover many of the "hidden" corners of this area... anyone up for a spontaneous adventure?

Interests

Velkommen til patagonia. Jeg bodde ett år i Møre og Romsdal, men nå er jeg tilbake i Argentina. Håper jeg kan øve meg på norsk med deg! :)

I find a good story absolutely irresistible, so be sure to bring yours with you when you visit! I have quite a few intersting ones to share with whomever is curious.

I strive to meet people who might show me that the life I imagine is not so impossible after all =) Travel, learn, love, have a beer with friends. And peanuts, salty lovely peanuts. Really, I'd like to broaden my mind by meeting nice, bold and open-minded people and listening to their stories, experiences, likes, dislikes, fears, challenges... you know, the really deep dark stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music as an extension of our ears, movies as an extension of our eyes... books as an extension of our mind.

I just love so many of them that I simply couldn't name every single one.

But...

"The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" plays a role in my life analogous to that of the holy bible for christians. Similarly 1984 is an incredibly well written and scarily prophetic book.
Been listening a lot of Twenty One Pilots recently.
Big fan of Scary Pockets... if you still haven't heard of them then suffer no more and go make yourself a favor by googling them. As good as funky groove gets ;)
Going through a classical phase now, so lots of Satie, Bizet, Grieg, Mussorgsky and other powerful yet emotional composers.

Also...

Adaptation: the orchid theft - The fight club - La vita é bella - Timecrimes - Intouchables - The salt of the Earth - Ex Machina - Exit through the gift shop - Into the inferno - Her - Swiss army man - Being John Malkovich - The silence of the lambs - Anomalisa - District 9 - Inception - Brazil - Donnie Darko - Jacob's ladder - Cidade de Deus - American History X - The eight mountains.

Just to name a few of the thought provoking films that I enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just regular anesthesiologist firefighter diver stuff...

"It is hard to defeat one who never gives up"

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:Astronomy, bird watching in Buenos Aires/Patagonia, some cooking, a little bit of spanish.
Learn: Pretty much anything you are passionate about and any language that you might master.
Share: Just my everyday life with a pinch of good humour and a really authentic effort to make you feel part of it =)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fruit mandalas and homemade bread for breakfast :D And chocolate, I've learnt over time that the best surfers always bring chocolate (or wine), so I don't want to fall short hahaha

I am decent cook so if you dare I can try to show you that vegan food is as varied and delicious as omnivorous food ;)

Motivation to go out and break a sweat, whether it's on a park, a gym or the beach, always up for a nice workout.

Metaphysical exchanges and analysis on many of the mankind's dilemmas that "Rick and Morty" cartoon has so accuratly and timely brought to the table.
