About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To share the love of reading ❤️

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy girl who firmly believes life should be enjoyed with the people I love and I want to learn many many languages now!

Otherwise, here are a list of things I particularly enjoy doing :

-Make new friends (Yes, I'm that cheesY :D )
-Read !
-Spend afternoons in a park trying to juggle
-Taste new Japanese foods (and all the other foods as well!)
-Be a geek
-Be a movie geek (read : I'm a sucker for gore movies)
-Be a comic books/graphic novels geek
-Try teaching French or, rather, quebecer French
-Try new restaurants, so if you come here, it's likely we'll go to a place I don't know either, but it's fun!
-Read too much, and dream about it

The rest, you'll discover when you meet me!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is better with colors! Or never stop dreaming! Or let me invent a time-machine plea-aaaase?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spend all of my free time (24 hours a day, of course) reading every profile of every participant in every country. Yes, I love to read that much. Okay, I also host when I can, of course. Joining events is a really good way to meet new people, experience your own city through other people's eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best of all :

Spending New Years Eve in Mexico, partying with locals and enjoying the first warm end of the year in my whole life was a truly unique and so perfect experience.

Interests

Time-travelling, enjoying new culinary specialities (especially new candies!), running wild in the streets, spending time in planes, listening too loud for my ears to good music and various others!
Reading : everything from comic strips to poetry and historic books.
Now that I am in Japan, quite a lot of my free time is devoted to learning new kanji (one day, one day.. you'll see) and Japanese in general. It's quite a challenge :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books : Everything from sci-fi to horror, poetry, and comic strips. Lots of comic strips, Persepolis, Walking Dead, Asimov, Senécal, Bilal, Michel Rabagliati, Alan Moore, Watchmen, a many many many others.

Music speaking, I particularly enjoy old rock (thanks, dad), everything from the 80's, be it pop or coldwave, and now that I started dancing, Jazz and blues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the temple with friends in Bali. Unforgettable.
Urban exploration in Vilnius was quite scary, but so much fun.
In Tokyo, I also had the pleasure of joining a Japanese friend for a personal dancing lesson, dressed in a kimono with which sitting was not quite possible.

Every time I think of all this, it makes me smile so much.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach juggling and quebecer French! I love to share language knowledge and I really want to improve my Japanese (especially Kanji, those hard bastards).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd rather say what I hope to experience with other couchsurfers : new experiences, fun, meaningful conversations or just smiles :)
