About Me
Hi!
My name is Heron (Yep, just like the bird) and I'm a 22 years old brazilian male.
I love to meet new people and share the experiences I've had in my trips and learnings! My dream is to take 2 whole years of my life and travel around the world learning and meeting new places and people. But for now I must finish my graduation (Chemical Engineering). I'll finish it in 2018. I can't wait that long to travel by myself, so I save money during the whole year to travel abroad on my summer vacations.
So, if you want to learn something interesting about other places or something about Chemical Engineering (haha), let's talk! Oh, I also am a homebrewer and a beer lover :)
Saudações do Brasil!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Besides the low cost traveling, I think the best way on knowing the city or country we're in is with the native people. Even better is to stay in the same house with them. So, in the name of "culture learning", I think couchsurfing is a great plataform to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love american reggae fusion music like Sublime, Mike Pinto and Dirty Heads, but also like rock music, from the classics (ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd) to the ones still on activity in various stiles (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, SUM 41). I also like to always learn new songs from different countries.
To watch, I always like comedy films, specially the dummies ones haha. But I also like a good drama film (french ones are great) and adventure with lot of action too.
I usually read books with beer subjects haha, but I've already read Harry Potter series haha. Actually, don't read much honestly. Maybe you can show me some books to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I was member of the Academic Directory of Chemical Engineering at my university, here in Brazil. We promoted the first EQ Beer Festival (EQ = CE "Chemical Engineering"). It was incredibly hard work and gratifying in the end. Me and 8 other craft brewery produced 20 different types of beer among 15 brewers and more than 400 drinkers haha. It was awesome!
