ABOUT ME

I love learning and exploring, two traits which probably influence most of my decisions. I'm constantly traveling, learning languages (well, attempting), in school, and jumping full bore into new and exciting adventures*

In person, I'm easygoing, inquisitive, sarcastic, and quick to laugh. I tend to find humor in most things, so my demeanor is pretty light hearted, even if I'm talking about something serious.

*current adventures: taking a mountaineering class, moving to France.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started as a host-by-proxy a few years ago when my roommate signed up with couchsurfing. The experience was so nice I decided to open up an account of my own after moving out.

I've since participated in a variety of ways - hosting, surfing, tour-guiding. I've been moving constantly over the past few years so I haven't done it as much as I would have liked, but an extremely positive recent experience in France has given me newfound vigor. The doors are open once again, couch surfers! Come one, come all.

Interests

I like doing things outside. A lot. I'm particularly fond of rock climbing, mountaineering, and cycling, though I'd be up for pretty much anything.

I'm also really into travel. Thus far, most of my traveling has been in Latin America, but I've got my eyes set on France, where I'm hoping to move later this summer.

When I’m not running around outside or traveling abroad, I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, BBQing, going to/throwing themed parties (its my creative outlet), going to bars/restaurants, or just hanging out at home playing board games or watching movies.
