ABOUT ME

I work as a scientist at an ornithological institute, and study how and why bird species go extinct all over the world. Ultimately the goal of my work (or existence) is to avoid that species go extinct. I currently work with partners in 10 different countries, so I do get around a fair bit.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel frequently and have spent many nights under bridges, in roadside ditches or other unusual places. I know what it's like to look for a place to stay, and have hosted many people in the past. Now I live in a shared house, so hosting is not always possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several travelers while I was living in Alaska, and sent countless messages to people who wanted to explore the great outdoors in Alaska. It's all been good, and I applaud the inventors of this network - it is fantastic!

Now I live in Switzerland where accommodation is crazy expensive, so if anyone wants to stay with me please get in touch.
