About Me
What’s up, surfers?! I'm just your typical, run-of-the-mill jack of all trades, master of none. I really enjoying learning about people and their cultures, as well as lending a hand in whatever way I am able to. Not really big on writing about/describing myself, but here's my go at it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The whole concept of couchsurfing represents everything I believe in. The people I've met, or even those I've just communicated with, through the couchsurfing community have been some of the best people I've met. I hope to soon move into a larger space (I currently have four roommates) so I can host fellow surfers.
I'm super passionate about helping people, and love meeting new people of various cultures and backgrounds and build genuine connections, so that's another reason I'm on here as well.
Interests
Honestly everything interests me: from art and music, to physics, politics, and psychology, to adventure, hiking, volunteering. Pretty much everything interests me--it's a blessing and a curse.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to be a huge Madeleine L'Engle fan (Still am, just haven't followed through on it recently), gotta love me some russian classics like Dostoevesky and Tolstoy. Crime and Punishment is a big favourite. I could go on and on about books. Big Dante fan, too. Haven't read him recently but inferno was quite the read. Hemingway too. Many others that I cannot think of at the moment. As far as movies and TV, I really enjoy satire and dark humor, but light comedy gets me too. Recently I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries and true crime. I think When They See Us made me feel more than any media source has in quite a while. Nikita and Hannibal are also classic shows that I’m a big fan of. Game of thrones as well, but we all know how botched up the last season was.
I’m also a huge fan of cinematography, particularly why I was such a big fan of Hannibal.
Good Will Hunting and Dead Poet's Society are good movies too (RIP my boii robin)
Music: man this is by far the most eclectic; anything from jazz, blues, rock, classic metal, some synthpop, some hip hop, bluegrass, i dunno Currently I’ve been really delving into old school and funk
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk politics, music, philosophy (though this one is lagging at the moment). I can also teach you stuff about those subjects, too I guess. Pretty decent cook too—maybe I can teach you how to make an Indian dish or two; I can also build things. I also have a lot of interesting experience working with child development, so if psychology is your thing, I’ve got a lot to say there.
What I Can Share with Hosts
New cooking recipes, innovation, interesting conversations, my experiences, maybe some light crafting—I’m a bit out of practice.
