About Me

I grew up in Hungary, lived near Hannover, in Germany, for a year as an exchange student and I study in the UK now :) I have always loved travelling and meeting new people - probably the reason why I wanted to study social sciences.
Having conversations with people is probably what I enjoy the most, but I also love reading, listening to music, playing the flute, looking at/making art, basketball, hiking, cycling, going on long walks in cities and !!dancing!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all types of music: everything from jazz and classical through rock to electronic, funk, soul, music from all around the world. Right now I would recommend Jacquilne du Pré's performance of Bach's Chello Suite No.1 in G, Bailoo, Zoom - Hang Loose (Plain Soul Cut) and generally Angolan music!

I have always loved reading, but sadly lately I haven't had that much time to read fiction. A book I loved as a teenager is The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov, a Soviet satire. One that helped me through some personal stuff last year is Franny and Zooey by Salinger. I would also recommend When Nietzsche Wept by Irvin D. Yalom, a fun read about psychology and philosophy.

I don't know very much about films, but Almodóvar is one of my favourite directors
