About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, meet new exciting people, enjoy my life and learn silly phrases in foreign languages!

ABOUT ME

I am a happy, silly person who enjoys travelling, dancing to bad music, staying in my pyjamas all day and baking cookies, meeting fantasmagorical new people and spending time on beaches eating warm grapes!
I am from Australia, but my dad is portugese indian and my mooma is french canadian. so i can almost fit in anywhere. well that's what i like to think anyway.
I am currently living in ireland but i am leaving to travel and hopefully couch surf a bit and then return to home in Melbourne.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the most of now! and always always talk to people... you never know who you might become besties with!!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

i love really sad pretty music, which is not a reflection of my personality because i'm generally pretty happy hahah... i love the decemberists, mumford and sons, damien rice, the swell season, bon iver and lisa hannigan.
but i also love jumpy/happy/normal music like the kings of leon, bloc party, la roux and alphabeat.
i love almost all film from the trashiest romcom to the wankiest arthouse film. i just love watching films
I heart Alex Garland and Irvine Welsh at the mo, but i also read the god of small things by arundhati roy and shantaram by gregory david roberts recently and they were both incredible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whilst working in a Tibetan buddhist nunnery in northern India i was fortunate enough to meet and recieve a blessing from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Also i got to ride a yak...not as good but still pretty impressive eh?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about tibetan culture and buddhism.
I would love to learn spanish, tibetan, portugese, german and umm flemmish! i also love learning about other cultures and peoples' middle names
