ABOUT ME

Very recent my life changed again. I gave up my job and my house in NL. Traveled in India and Nepal, partied in Goa, found a new harmony after a Vipassana meditation course (I try to meditate every day). Volunteered for Slumsoccer (a great ngo doing education through football to slum children) in India and lived 3 months in Nepal. Also volunteered for another great ngo Sewa in Nepal (reunites streetchildren with their families). I'm happy to have found the love of my life, although we seem to have a very unusual relationship of being together while not physically being together. I miss the great parties and techno/electro music in the Amsterdam party scene. Don't really seem to find t in my travels... I loved the interesting people I met in Phokara, Nepal. PHILOSOPHY

I have been described as being a strange mix of an ultimate thrill seeker and a etheric dreamer. I believe in being strong and independent by showing your doubts in life. And I never want to loose the girlyness in me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first was in Brussels, the best were in Pune and Bombay, in India. The weirdest were in Calcutta. The funniest experience was a spontanious cs with a system escaper in Goa. Tried, but never succeeded in Nepal, Syria and Lebanon. Would have loved to cs with female Syrian couchsurfers

Really want to hear/participate in live music. Sharing the little funny details of every day life with people that can appreciate it. Ignore people that can only talk about themselves, especialy in a dominant way. Love sharing with souls that are so brave to take risks by taking the 'unwalked' trail in life. Love to smell and try all the different foods at the markets here. Learn cooking Burmese and Thai. Learn Burmese language. Share experiences about my Vipassana meditation. Interested in doing a yoga course. Tend to take care of the girls I meet because somehow they always remind me a bit of my little sister. Yep, I am a little older than before.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Traveled parts of the Silk Road from Amsterdam to Burma in a car smaller than a Riksha/tuktuk.
Did Annapurna circuit the other way around, climbing to 5400 meter.
Surved a 2 meter wave in a kayak.
Raced on a camel in the syrian desert.
Raced on a horse in the Indian jungle.
Provoked by showing female curves and strength in my colorful dresses (worn with legging) in Syria.
Partied in the gay Beirut underground scene.
Produced a movie, gave workshops and learned how to drive a motorbike.
