Hi, I am currently living in Amsterdam, where I am studying for one year as a part of my degree course. Back in England I live in Hertfordshire, where I'm also studying.

I have a very laid back and easy going personality which you can take in two ways I guess, that either I am just very relaxed and chilled, or that I don't care enough to let stuff bother me... Take it as you wish.

I love to spend my time going with friends when I am at home (UK). My idea of a perfect night would be - with my friends somewhere in London, heading out fairly early and going to a bunch of different bars, while we sip on g&t's, or cocktails (espresso martinis are life), then seeing where the night takes us, more bars/clubs/house parties.. A spontaneous night is normally a god night in my mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am coming to the end of my time in Amsterdam, and I have done various trips around Europe, but as I do not have much time, I want to see a few cities where I have not yet had the pleasure of exploring.

I am planning on travelling alone as it is something I have not yet had the chance to do so.

Interests

I have always loved to travel and take up any opportunity where I get a chance to visit somewhere new, some of my favourite cities (so far) are: San Diego, Budapest, Berlin and Marrakech. Places which are on my near future bucket list: Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, New Zealand and all of the nordic countries.

I love the finer things in life (but then again who doesn't) I love good wine or craft beers and cocktails. I also consider myself a bit of a foodie, and I'm always looking for a new brunch cafe or pop-up street food vender. However, I have recently decided to stop eating meat. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, for me this means eating well, and working out when I have the time.

I am a massive dog/animal lover. At home - we have a Labradoodle, and recently adopted a Staff. Not much else to be said.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not sure exactly what this means, but I can be great company if you want to go for food or a drink I love talking and getting to know new people. Making friends from around the world this last year as an international student has meant I've gotten to know so many new cultures, and now I just want to keep meeting more people, from different places! I am a great listener, and once I have broken the ice with somebody I am definitely happy to share own my experiences too.
