ABOUT ME
I graduated last year from studying history in Leeds, in the north of England. Now I live in Hamburg. I love music, particularly playing with other people - whether it's a string quartet or a ukelele jam.
I grew up in a housing co-op in south London, near the river, surrounded by a lot of hippies and lefties. These days I'm pretty active in left wing politics and I'm very interested in alternative living styles like communes and cooperatives.
I love London but am never too happy staying in the same place for too long so like to travel whenever I can. It's one of my favourite things to wander around a foriegn city and (usually) get lost. I think learning about different cultures and meeting all sorts of people is the best thing about travelling.
PHILOSOPHY
Freedom is a constant struggle.
Never kiss a Tory.

Interests
Music - I'm classicly trained in several instruments but am pretty easy going and tend to enjoy most music, particularly folk. I also like to dance like a jellyfish.
History - particularly social history and 20th century stuff.
Politics - I'm an anti-capitalist and a feminist but always up for a good debate and interested in other people's views.
Spray paint, making stencils, street art and political graffiti, fly posting, far left fashion, demonstrating.

Music, Movies, and Books
Like most people I like a lot of different music genres so it really depends on my mood. But there are two things that will never change: Bob Dylan is my number 1 and I will love him forever, and Patti Smith is one of my biggest inspirations in life.
Movies: Juno, The Edukators, Goodbye Lenin!, The Place beyond the Pines
Books: Trainspotting, Skagboys, The Great Gatsby, The Bell Jar
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The New Zealand bush never ceases to amaze me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach piano and music theory to kids, so could be of use in that area. I can also help people with their English. I can also teach you how to walk and talk like a dinosaur.
I'm keen to learn practical skills like bike maintenance and gardening. Would also love to practice and improve my German.
