About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Buy a house boat..

ABOUT ME

Well, what to say...I'm 18, I graduated last May and since then have been trying, and failing, to find myself a fulltime job and now, seeing as I am setting off on my travels in March, it would seem to be a bit late. I work when there is work to be had which tends to be washing up. Ask me anything about industrial dishwashers and I can certainly give a good attempt at bullshitting an answer. Next year from March onwards I am going to be travelling, 3 months in Japan working on organic farms and visiting places and people. Then onwards to America. Going to spend a few days in New York before taking a 72 hour train to San Francisco in a feeble attempt to minimise my environmental impact. Pathetic isn't it? And THEN if my bank balance is still surviving I want to go to Fuji Rock Festival. Probably won't happen..I am generally a cheery person, I like tea like any self-respecting Englishman and I love cooking. At some point in my life I also played the saxaphone and the piano but those skills are currently stored in the very back of my brain.

PHILOSOPHY

Just LIVE and don't MOAN.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to help and receive a more genuine impression of a place when I go there. It is just all too easy to go somewhere and see what you are supposed to see and do what others expect you to do but with couchsurfing you meet the real inhabitants of that country. I like that.
