About Me

Hola friend, welcome to my queendom of one Finnish woman and 3 kiddos. When I say kiddos, it means one small and two big ones - and I've decided from now on to host only when my older kids are at their dad, which means every other week. Otherwise it's too much fuss for my sanity.
And when me and the little one host you, please be on time because we have routines and we need to eat dinner early enough etc. So be prepared to be punctual with us, and give my son some attention. That way we will get well along 😉.

I prefer requests from surfers who actually want to get to know the host and spend some time at my place, but I do accept last minute requests as well, if I'm available.

Btw, after receiving so many random friend requests, I decided to accept only those who I have actually met or been in contact with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet interesting people and share experiences. CS has brought me many new friends, some even in my hometown.

My life's been under some huge changes for years and I have learned to be comfortable sharing homes with others, with thankfulness and respect.

I believe that we can always learn from each other, and there's a meaning in every connection, no matter how short. There's no coincidences.

Interests

My ever thriving interests are music, dance, yoga etc workouts, health, nutrition, people, spiritual work and healing, nature, travels, books, self-reflecting, living instead of existing.

To add other things that intrigue me:
Finding meditative states. Substance free festivals, like Natural High Healing festival in Finland. Camper vans (who is with me on this one, travelling around in a van with kids?) Hiking. Forests. Beaches. Road trips. Animals. Dogs. Cats. Babies. Colours. Stones. Summer nights. Parties. Awareness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a tent and on the road for a year. With kids.

I would also say giving birth, but I did that 3 times :D

Competing with the year without a home, is my self-healing of a chronic illness with brain retraining. Check out DNRS-program if you're curious about brain retraining and how it can help people with many common and non-common health issues.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are here to learn, aren't we? I'll be happy to share what life has taught me, and to hear your life teachings.

People often want to hear if one has negative experiences in couch surfing. I want to focus on the positive stuff, and there is plenty! I've met some amazing people and made very good friends in cs.
I really love this concept.

What I want to add to that, is that as in life in general, also in cs there is a small group of people who don't respect other's boundaries. Especially as a woman, I have had those experiences. I want to remind, that we all have a right to refuse someone's company or messaging, if we don't feel good about it - and our refusal should be respected.

About messaging, I also want to say that personally I don't want any random contacting. Please contact me ONLY, if you are
a) looking for a host at TAMPERE
b) in need of help or want to ask about something in Finland (google is very helpful too)
c) visiting Tampere and want to meet locals
d) living at Tampere and want to make new friends in a sincere manner
e) responding to my public trips when I travel, which btw is very useful function here. I recommend to try it!

Thank you for understanding 🙏
