I am a guy who is very interested in lots of different things like culture, history, science, art (movies, music). I sometimes struggle to create art and to get something done to develop and promote (local) culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an ongoing experiment to avoid repetition and embrace it. To live with all the contradictions that we encounter in our daily existence. So make a lot of fun and laugh! Don't be so serious :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted quite a few people from all over the world in these last few years. I show people the real Netherlands and like some more background stories instead of going to touristic attractions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to Hungary and stayed with a couple of couchsurfers. Also I was on of the few couchsurfers to visit Helgoland (in Germany) through couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most special thing I did was my travel around europe couple of years ago. Within 4 months I visited 25 countries and about 35 little villages all across europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know quite somethings about world cultures, and of course I know most about my own culture. I can show you what the Netherlands is really like, so you will feel more like a traveller and not a tourist. If you like that of course.

I know also alot about dutch art, especially movies and history as well. That includes knowledge of nice bars, museums, places to visit etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always tend to take some small music instruments with me on travels. You can play some of them if you want :D
