I'm energetic and outdoorsy and always up for a new adventure. I can be found sea kayaking, waterfall jumping, hiking in thunderstorms, or camping with my dog. I play ice hockey and enjoy reading a book with a cup of tea on a rainy day; I'm a librarian without the librarian stereotype. I TWICE cycled the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage from Lisbon up the coast of Portugal to Spain (600 km).

I have a lot of books, love to cook and host, share stories of our travels, and play Settlers of Catan.

I had my first CS-er in May 2009 -- and since then have hosted in both NC and California and couchsurfed all over the US and Canada and Europe.
