About Me

I grew up just outside of Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania, on the east coast of the US. I've worked in hospitality since I was a teenager, including through university, where I studied literature and history. After college I moved to New York City, where I worked a variety of jobs, from a Broadway bartender to curating art events in my loft, to starting a small moving company. After a few years in New York, I moved to Portland, Oregon, in the Northwest US, where I developed and manage the restaurant at a boutique hotel. When i'm not hosting guests at work, I spend my free time hiking, camping, reading, and going out with friends. Currently I'm taking some time off to travel before I plan to apply to graduate schools for education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a lot of time this summer hiking and camping in the beautiful Pacific Northwestern US! Favorite memory from this summer was sleeping underneath the stars on Mt. Rainier in Washington state. Best stargazing experience i've ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied literature at University but have worked in hospitality and hotel and restaurant management since I was a teenager. I've spent the last three years redeveloping and managing two restaurants. I love coffee, cocktails, wine, and beer. I love dishes that are driven by fresh and local produce. Outside of my work in hospitality, I closely follow world news and U.S. politics and hope to one day work in education or public policy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences! Would love to explore your city with you. We could check out the sights, see live music, a show, get dinner, drinks, coffee or tea, go dancing, or check out a movie! I can teach you how to make the perfect martini, how to make latte art, or apologize on behalf of Americans everywhere for our awful president.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Israel, Mexico, Saint Martin (French part), Switzerland
