About Me

CURRENT MISSION

bread

ABOUT ME

I was a baker at a tiny german bakery in Portland. Now I am in Nordrhein Westfalen with a Cold War era fellowship to strengthen the US German relationship through personal connections. That means I am studying at a university followed by a Marketing internship. I pretend to be creative but really I think I may just be dead inside, who knows. I play bass guitar, sing, and write music and poems. I like to design abstract things and sew, especially bright, outlandish outfits. I am not exactly out there, but I try very hard to see everything I can and take advantage of the situation when I can. I recently graduated from College, majoring in Communication and German Studies. I have a lot of german books to read. too many. and then all the movies that I have watched, by god.
I made a documentary about three homeless men and their relationship with society as my thesis.

PHILOSOPHY

i live to please and to find simple pleasures

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to be able to host couchsurfers, or at least introduce those that I spend time with to new ideas, beer, or desires. Unfortunately, I am living with a host family and cannot house any future friends at the moment. Yet I am always willing to meet up and show the city as I see it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed through Europe and it made my trip ten times better. I would never change a thing! amazing site, amazing people. The few that I have hosted have all been extremely fun to learn from

Interests

I like talking in German. I enjoy comparing cultures, or such within them. I like to walk, drink, take pictures, make movies, watch movies, eat/make delicious food. teach me a new craft, please.
