Overview
About Me
Although these days I call Vancouver my 'hometown', I grew up in rural Gloucestershire, in the south of England. I left pretty much as soon as I could, and have spent the past eight years bouncing between several countries. England is definitely best appreciated from afar I feel. I just moved to Scotland (again) in November 2016 - for how long I have no idea. But I imagine I'll head across the pond again at some point. I kinda have to to maintain my residency anyways. But until that time, I'm gonna explore and enjoy the proverbial shit out of Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing fits pretty neatly into my ethos on life, and I enjoy both hosting and surfing, having made lifelong friends doing both. This website did actually change my life, which is weird to think about.

Interests
Although most of my friends would probably say I hate everything, that's not entirely true. Travelling has always been a cornerstone of my life, and it's something I will never stop doing. Music is my favourite art form, and is crucial to my existence. I'm constantly exploring new artists and genres, and I also play guitar and piano. I read a lot as well, and giving up my library when moving countries is always sad. I'm somewhat of a nature boy as well, and a gardener/tree surgeon by trade. Activity wise, I'm into hiking, swimming, bouldering and running , and normally get around town by skateboarding or cycling. I need at least one walk a day as well.
The rest we'll have to talk about with a good old fashioned conversation.
