ABOUT ME

I am a designer of interface for software in a well known company in Chengdu. I'm hospitable, straightforward, easy-going, humourous, sometimes timid :P.

Travel is an inseparable part of my life, since my first time went abroad for travel, by seeing many different people, diverse cultures, foods, architectures, sights... I knew it was what I should persue. It gave me an emormous passion and inspired me a lot. So I love it.

Extreme sports and other exciting activities can always making me refreshing and energetic. I am very keen on any kinds of this kind of sport, willing to take different challenges.

Became an aficionado of outdoor activities in 2009. Trekking, mountain climbing and camping at undeveloped places of Sichuan, especially Tibetan areas, took up my weekends and holidays. Even now, it is still a cordial for me.

Mostly, iPhone is my favourite camera for photographing. I like taking photos to record ever special moment of life. Check them out at Instagram @heyerique

In 2014, I got my Open Water and Advanced OW licences in Philippines. But only dived in Philippines and Indonesia for countable dive points. I am not a hard core diver, but lots of stunning dive points around Asia are on my list.

Now, I am an amateur runner. Have been regularly jogging for more than a half year. Will keep going and try to attend a marathon in the futhure. Follow me on Nike+ Running @heyerique :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Fond of making friend and communicating with different people from different places or countries with different cultures. Hopefully, we can exchange mind, opinion and experience about anything. This won't make me stale and broaden my eyes in another way.

Travel is not only giving high fives in pubs, eating street foods, sight seeing, island hopping, but also experience local life, learning other authentic stuffs. I never satisfy with saying Hi, good morning, thank you, how much with more than 10 languages. Luckily, couchsurfing is a good platform for this.
