Florida native, Austin transplant. I like to travel by settling in to one spot for a while and wandering by whims or neighborhood recommendations, not by setting an itinerary. I most enjoy getting to intimately know one or two neighborhoods in a new place rather than breezing through lots of places and crowds. I prefer to minimize my packing to one bag as small as possible, and keep my space tidy, no matter how temporary. I've picked up a few languages from my family and travels, but am not 100% fluent in any of them. I can understand most Spanish but sometimes have trouble talking back in person.
