ABOUT ME

Minimalist. I am the most efficient day dreamer that you've never met. I can do it while cooking, waiting tables, expediting, and running food. Also, while getting tattoos, riding my bike, and listening to podcasts.

I've been in Memphis for about 9 years and if it had a beach and some mountains, I would probably forget to ever leave.

I love meeting all kinds of people and sharing knowledge. Come on over!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted in quite awhile and I am going to give it a try in my small space.

I also have an upcoming trip to Boulder with my sister in which we plan on using couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my CS experience is as a host. In various locations, mostly in Memphis, I have hosted many small to very large groups over the past 6 years. As a Memphis City Ambassador, I have tried to organize events and foster nurture the spirit of CS in the city as much as possible.

I really love Paul Thomas Anderson movies...Punch Drunk Love, The Master, Boogie Nights, There Will Be Blood, etc., and Wes Anderson movies...Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, Royal Tennenbaums, etc. Some of my other favorite directors are Akira Kurosawa, Lars Von Trier, Gus Van Sant, Michael Haneke, Spike Jonze, the Coen Brothers, and Harmony Korine.

Apparently, I primarily listen to Ty Segall. I also really love the Beastie Boys, Thee Oh Sees, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and the Black Lips among many others. For the most part I like most genres, except for new country. Give me something to dance to and i'll be happy.

My favorite book of all time is Still life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins. My favorite Author overall is Bret Easton Ellis.

The scenery on my cross Canadian drives to Alaska and back was absolutely beautiful!

I am very eager to teach, learn, and share as much as possible.
I am very eager to teach anyone a bit of useful cooking skills.
In the very near future, I will be striving to learn Spanish and surfing.
