ABOUT ME

Hey there!!
Firstly sorry my profile needs a bit updating, most of this text was written in 2010. But 1 new info from this year (2018) is that I can host 2-3 people in the center of Helsinki. I love hosting but I am quite busy. I cannot always answer quickly, so best option is to write to me at least 2-3 days in advance) Now rest is old info : I grew up in Lapland. Most of life I've lived in Rovaniemi (so if you need any travel tips for Lapland, ask me!) I also lived 2 years in Scotland, 3 months in Barcelona and 3 months in Tver(Russia) and 3 months also in Moscow and 4 months in Curitiba, Brazil. I enjoy living abroad and getting to know people around the world.

I'm pretty relaxed and friendly.. you know the basic stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a little break, but now I have bigger home, so it's easy to welcome surfers to my home again:) . So now I host, before I was using couchsurfing for travelling also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a plenty of times now and they've all been good experiences.

Mostly I've been traveling with my friend Laura, so a lot of couchsurfers I've visited are not in my profile but in hers.

Since I moved to Helsinki, I have been hosting a few people and it's been super-fun!

Interests

I'm passionate about music. Meaning going to concerts, playing the guitar and sometimes also the piano.

At home I spend my time reading, watching films, drinking tea, cooking vegetarian food and of course sleeping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing cows living on the mountains in Picos de Europe and standing on top the cliffs of Orkney islands. (Basically I'm impressed with high places)

I can teach Finnish and how to play the guitar perhaps. I also would like to learn how to play the guitar (better!)
