About Me
ABOUT ME
I double majored in International Relations and Chemistry at NYU and graduated from medical school in Virginia. Currently an emergency medicine resident at Drexel University. I'm very friendly and social, been exposed to all types of cultures and I love meeting new people and learning new things.
Right now I want to make time in my life to learn, experience, love, and appreciate new cultures, new music, and food.
PHILOSOPHY
Fall down 7 times, get up 8.
Everyone starts with 24 hours in the bank. The difference is how we use them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm finally back on couchsurfing after been away for 12 months!
Interests
I love the ocean and the beach, but I also like to backpack and explore. I'm very spontaneous and adventurous in a fun way, and I loooove to travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked for 6 weeks with a nonprofit medical organization in Kolkata and helped to run 3 field clinics from June 2015 to July 2015.
Backpacked across Europe (from Ireland to Istanbul and back) from May 2014 to June 2014.
Rented an Audi and went on a road trip across Switzerland and France. Two speeding tickets in Switzerland...oops.
Went on a solo backpacking trip across South America through 6 countries from Dec 2013 to Jan 2014.
Swam with whale sharks in Mexico...and getting unbelievably close to them.
Went on an epic roadtrip in Iceland and saw the glaciers and the Northern Lights.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, but I can also teach some basic Mandarin. My biggest interest is in global health and sciences, and I love learning and teaching sciences like chemistry, physics, and biology. I also enjoy discussing politics and always love learning new perspectives from people around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've definitely had many very interesting life experiences. And if we happen to connect, I wouldn't mind sharing some of those stories and experiences.
