About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Save the world, get the girl, come home in time for supper, and put it all in writing and pictures.
ABOUT ME
So I was born in San Francisco, CA, and by the time I graduated high school, lived all around California, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the Philippines. When someone asks me where I'm from, I usually just say "I live down the street" or imitate whatever accent I can and see if they can guess that I'm pulling their leg before I flat out tell them. Being politically correct is not my thing, but universal respect for self and others is, which I learned going to international school in Manila where everyone's a little bit racist (if you have seen Avenue Q the musical, you'll know this).
PHILOSOPHY
Don't forget to breathe. You can never be too polite. Never overstay your welcome. Take risks now because you may not get a chance to later. Don't have a comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By spreading the gospel of couch surfing to fellow travelers and showing those experimenting with this that good manners are worth their weight in gold; being the perfect guest means showing you truly appreciate hospitality.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sleeping on the floor of someone's home is what I did recently, and after experimenting around NYC recently sleeping on the floor of grand central station and on subway trains, I can sleep anywhere. The problem with that is when I can sleep anywhere, I fall asleep everywhere, whether it's a loud party or leaning against a wall. I have yet to fall asleep sitting on the toilet.
Interests
I've got an eclectic set of interests, from meditation to scuba diving, skydiving, writing, photography, comics, video games, museum hopping, martial arts, breakdancing, cooking, and complete spontaneity.

Scuba diving in Coron, Palawan, Philippines, where the sunken Japanese World War II ships are and seeing the amazing coral growing on the ships as well as all the fishes. Simply breathtaking.

The truth is, it's all meditation.
