A person who loves traveling, long trips or small, far far away or just in Europe. Enjoying concerts and music, a good movie and having a drink and a nice chat.
Love the sun, not so much the cold, unless there is snow.
While not traveling myself, I love to enjoy the company of travellers. Feeling the spirit and freedom that traveling gives you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted several couchsufers, always a blast. On my trip to South America I have surfed on 35 different couches. It is great to see how 'local' people live and experience their cultures. I also join/organize gatherings, parties and dinners.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my year of travelling I surfed a lot. Me and my friends stayed in various strange and awesome places. We stayed with street musicions in Buenos Aires, in a self build house in the slums of Colombia, in a big, big mension in Bolivia, a fishermanshouse in Brazil, with a familie in Uruguay and also enjoyed some BBQ gatherings and a CS-camp!
In Holland I go to meetings, organize or join dinners and parties and off course like to host other travellers.

Interests

Traveling, having fun, going to festivals and concerts, listen to music, reading books, get sun burned, drinking cocktails, go out and dance. And off course party 5 days in a row with carnival! Dress up like nuns,nurses and Brazilian buttocks...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music (rock, pop, 80's/90's), go to (rock)music festivals like lowlands, rock in park, pinkpop.
Further i like reading books and watching movies and girly series like Greys Anatomy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the things that I am proud of was walking the 'real' Inca trail to the machu picchu in Peru. It was one of the hardest things to do and really exhausting, but I made it!

Sailing from the south of Brazil to Rio on a yacht! It was amazing, being there on the big big ocean, with the only thing around you is water, water and water.

Experience the nice and beautiful life on Galapagos Island. Snorkeling with sea-lions, big rays, turtles and sharks. Walking on the islands and see an amazing collections of birds.

Walking for 5 days in the jungle of Bolivia, with nothing more than a cook and a guide. Moving from one camp to another.
