CURRENT MISSION
Live the dream.
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Erik! All's I have ever wanted to do is travel the world. I joined the Air Force to do some traveling, but then got stuck in a training squadron and never once got to leave Louisiana.
So I went to school and got educated in Live Audio Engineering and concert building. I hope to travel the world running sound and lights for the biggest shows, festivals and raves on the planet.
PHILOSOPHY
One life to Live. Make it count.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think the biggest way I participate would be by telling people about CS and helping to educate them about it. Usually when I tell someone new about CS, they have one of two responses.
1.- That's Awesome!!!
or
2.- Wait, you stay on random peoples couches who you met through the internet??? You're Crazy!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed all over the US, as well as hosted numerous people. I also like to get to know the local people in the local CS events, and have made many great friends through this website.
Interests
I love the outdoors, local shows and concerts, urban exploring, electronic music, DJ'ing, animals, music festivals, running, cats, electronics, iPhones, sociology, drinking, clubbing, partying, raving, biking philosophy, meeting new people and I'm sure a bunch more but a brain fart is keeping this list short...

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my passion, my drive, my hobby, and my career. You know when you go to a concert there's that guy in the back with the giant console with thousands of buttons on it? Yup, that's me! I feel very fortunate to have found a career that I am very passionate about and am excited to be working in.
In addition to my career, I absolutely love electronic music and am a dj myself. There is just something that fascinates me about being able to create new sounds no one has ever heard before and weaving them together to make a musical masterpiece. While I do have the skills to be a club dj, right now I am simply just too busy with school, work, and internships to take on anymore workloads. My dream and goal is to be a sound engineer at some of the worlds largest electronic dance music festivals. I don't feel that you have really lived until you have been surrounded by 100,000 crazy screaming fans while your eardrums are being pulverized by insane basslines and your eyes are fixated on breathtaking visuals and lasers being projected onto enormous screens and stages.
I don't watch much TV, but when I do I like the office, the shield, battlestar gallactica, and the daily show, the wire, and breaking bad.
I like reading non-fiction so I can learn something while I'm at it, but lately its just been one textbook after another..
I like all kinds of music, but my favorite by far is electronic stuff like trance, electro house, drum n bass bla bla bla. I have some turntables that I jam out on quite a bit, but it's just my personal hobby for now. I don't think my neighbors like them though, as my noise complaints can show...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Partied with 150,000 people at Ultra Music Festival and the Electric Daisy Carnival
-Couchsurfed across the US while living out of the trunk of my car.
-Too many concerts to count, I guess this may be why I have chosen this industry to build a career in.
-Graduated with a degree in Show Production and touring from Full Sail University.
-Seen just about every one of the world's top DJ's at least a few times.
