ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado.
My Father is Persian, My Mother is American, with Dutch relatives.
I was raised American visiting my father on the weekends as they were divorced before I could remember. Growing up I have been trying to get closer to my Persian roots. Persian parties are so much fun, the dancing and the food... my goodness the food is the best.
Ive been attempting making some persian food myself... and lets say I need some more practice... lol
I learned spanish through working in hotels primarily but also My mom married a Mexican fella, and meeting his family has helped some also.
Still need more practice, pero inteindo mucho...

I am Inspired to learn from others through travel and experiences. Instead of living through other peoples experiences, I want to create my own!

My personal philosophy is to be kind and open minded.
Keep obtainable goals, and long term goals.
Enjoy yourself with whatever it is you do.
Every experience is knowledge gained!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS when I was traveling Europe. Literally was on a train from Budapest to Prague and girl i met on a train called me an 'idiot' for not using Couch Surfing... She was slovic and unsure if she realized she sounded a little rude but was all in good intent and she shared some stories with me about her experiences!

I've gained lots of experience with my travels to Europe.

I recommended CS to a friend and she has traveled the world! she still is traveling, not sure when or if she is coming back?! So proud of her. But since then I have only heard wonderful things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only met fellow Couch Surfers, and been to some meetups in town. Have heard only wonderful stories and wish to experience it myself.

Interests

Interested in experiencing daily life in a world not of my own. But in one with you, whom i have not met yet.
My interests are in traveling.
Played Lacrosse in High School.
Play Ultimate Frisbee every tuesday night now, Couch Surfers welcome to join!
Getting into Disk Golf aka frisbee golf, there are many great courses in CO.
Netflix marathoner...
Camping in our wonderful rocky mountains.
Bought a fixed gear bike im still learning how to ride. difficult with no hand brakes.
Live music. Denver has a great local music scene thats blowing up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Iran. I have visited the ancient ruins of Persepolis! and the largest (or said to be) underground water cave, also in Iran.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn Farci, and French, and Dutch. I want to play Lacrosse better than I do, or did. I want to learn how to play the guitar, and Bass guitar. And want to learn to snowboard better, one season at a time! I'm also interested in learning more about myself!!!
