ABOUT ME

I am back in the US after having spent more than 3 years in the Philippines as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Home base is Michigan although I'm currently on a road trip visiting old friends and rediscovering my homeland!

A passionate educator, nothing gets me more excited than a good conversation about school, students, policy or programs. I am also interested in non-profit organizations with an education or youth initiative. I love to fantasize and plan about starting my own one day!

My other interests include but are definitely not limited to: environmental education, photography, anything outdoors, dance, dogs, vegetarianism

The sun rise over Mt. Malindig every day for 3 years.

I woke up once to discover the place we had parked was at the foot of a glacier in the Swiss Alps. And we brushed our teeth in glacier water.
