About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new awesome people everyday.

ABOUT ME

I tell everybody that I am a graphic designer and illustrator but actually, all I want to be is a full-time traveler. I am obsessed with hot air balloons, coffee -more recently tea- and patterns. I like to tell stories, read a good book, read a good blog, eat some cookies and DIY projects. Some people say I'm funny -and I choose to believe them.

PHILOSOPHY

Forget modest goals: this is time for you to dream big.

If it's supposed to happen, it will. Don't over push it, and don't stay in the couch taking naps because is not "magically" going to happen either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to Couchsurfing events quite often, since I really like the people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love to hear the stories behind the travelers and their ways of living, is so refreshing. I have met the most amazing people and places thanks to Couchsurfing so I'm really glad that I decided to join the community.

Interests

Graphic Design, Illustration, Cultural Events, Blogs. Writing. Dancing and lying on a park with a book in equal measure. Lists and productivity tools that I hardly ever use. Hammocks. Food. A lot of food. Mmmm... food. Running, cycling and working out, but never at the gym.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Billie Holiday / Los Amigos Invisibles / Norah Jones / Jamie Cullum / Coldplay / Macy Gray / Ray Charles / Frank Sinatra / Elvis Presley / Vampire Weekend / Foster The People / John Mayer / Crystal Fighters / Amy Winehouse / Alt-J / LCD Soundsystem / Buena Vista Social Club / Gorillaz / Natalia LaFourcade / The most random things, I will say.

Movies: 500 Days of Summer / Little Miss Sushine / Le Premier Jour Du Reste De Ta Vie / Documentaries, especially about design and nutrition -Again, random.

Books: I read almost anything, but my favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. My favorite is his short story "El rastro de tu sangre en la nieve".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably some concerts and music festivals, I love them! Hitchhiking for a week without money. The whole sort-of-improvised-moving-from-Venezuela-to-Berlin thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach latin-american-spanish, how to make arepas (although there's nothing to learn here if you have the main ingredient), a few sewing and crafty projects, a bit more about graphic design than just doodling and Photoshop, and a few things about nutrition.

Countries I’ve Visited
