About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world!

ABOUT ME

Born in Poland, raised in the U.S and now back in Poznan, Poland studying Medicine.
I'm a pretty laid back person, I never take life too seriously, and I'm always ready to have a good time! Life's too short to sit at home and be a bum. I love traveling and I hope to be doing A LOT more of it in the years to come. Update on that last statement, every time I have a free weekend or break.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I couchsurfed was in November 2011 with my friend Angelina in London and since then I've also stayed with Elena in Rome. Both times I've had absolutely fantastic experiences.

Recently I introduced my friends Ola and Julia to couchsurfing when we stayed in Copenhagen with some really interesting guys who took the time to show us around and take us out even though they were busy themselves.

I've also hosted a few people throughout the years, hopefully I'll be able to host more now that school isn't as stressful as before!

Interests

I love to ski, scuba dive, hike and generally just spend most of my time outdoors. I spend a lot of my time studying medicine but if I'm not then I am either hanging out with friends, exploring new places, in different countries or just in my own city, Poznan. Everything is changing so quickly here, there is always a new cafe or restaurant popping up or some new wall art that I hadn't noticed before. If I had a choice between going out to clubs or going hiking I would choose hiking every time. Don't get me wrong, I love to drink but nature is where it's at.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read books like nobodies business. Unfortunately most of the time they are medical books but I squeeze in some novels when I have the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba dived around the Great Barrier Reef

Hiked through the rain forests of Costa Rica to come to a secluded waterfall in the middle of nowhere

Stayed on a boat and went from island to island in the San Blas in Panama

Hiked the Inca Trail for 5 days to Machu Picchu

Got up at 4am to go searching for one of the few black rhinos left in the Rhino Desert Camp in Namibia, and finally finding one after 7 hours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my sarcastic sense of humor and my baking skills! I've been told my desserts are mouth-wateringly good :P
