ABOUT ME

We love being a part of Seattle's vibrant and diverse electronic music community, and we throw parties at least once a month through our label Innerflight Music. We also like to go out and support other events around town. Our parties usually span the genres of house, techno, electro, dubstep, hip hop and the varying sounds in between.

We both love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping and festivals in summer, snowboarding in winter. The last time we ventured out to Black Rock City was in 2008.

We keep up on current events and will not shy away from a good political discussion. We consider ourselves to be sustainably minded, and very open-minded about all lifestyles. We enjoy surrounding ourselves with people who are not judgmental and who like to have a good time.

In the summer we tend a veggie garden in our backyard. We prefer to eat vegetarian, but we include fish in our diet. You will not find any other meat but fish in our home. We try to eat organic whenever possible.

In 2009 we took off to travel around the world for 8 months. That experience has inspired us to become part of the CS community and share our home with other like-minded travelers, explorers and lovers of the Earth!
We enjoy fine wines, beers and spirits. Neither of us smoke cigarettes, but we don't mind if you do, in fact we have a deck for that.

We have hosted CS art show at one of our events and it was awesome! We hope to blend art, music and CS community at more events in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While we traveled in 2009 we met some wonderful people and were amazed at the generosity of new friends to host us or find places for us to stay that were affordable. We want to extend this same generous spirit to travelers that are visiting Seattle.

Algo increíble que he hecho

We hiked 5 days into the rain shadow of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas, into the region of the Upper Mustang in May, 2009. We were headed for the medieval capital city of Lo Manthang, without realizing that our timing was perfect to catch the annual Tiji Festival, or "Chasing of the Demons." We stayed with a Tibetan family and experienced four days of ancient, mysterious, beautiful ceremony and community. Instead of hiking out another 5 days, we rode out of the valley on horseback with our host, Tashi. We will never forget the thrill of riding their stocky Tibetan horses, fording rivers, sliding down mountain sides, while little bells attached to our horse's manes tinkled in the wind, the snow capped Himalayas loomed above us, and the sweet and haunting sounds of Tibetan folk songs sung by our fellow travelers filled our ears.
