ABOUT ME

I have a northeast heart (born in NY) and a northwest attitude (lived and schooled in Portland, Oregon). I consider myself of the right-brained variety and I love being creative. I suppose I would say that being indulgent is one of my vices; delicious food and aesthetics are important to me. I am constantly looking for new music. I consider music mixes to be an art form and I enjoy making them for people. I laugh way too much, mostly at things that are inappropriate. My mama told me I have a glass face, all emotions are apparent on my face.

Right now, I have no concrete plans. Dreaming and scheming is one of my favorite pastimes and I am trying to avoid the American checklist (grad school, job, marriage) at the moment. Trying to embrace anything that comes my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the opportunity to use couch surfing while traveling in France with my boyfriend at the time. We had nothing but good experiences. This community is the antithesis of what the news would like you to believe. My experience only cements my belief that people are generally good at heart.

Swimming in bio-luminescence in Puerto Rico, living on glaciers in Alaska, and betel-chewing with Vietnamese Buddhist monks.
