About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Oregon and I LOVE the Pacific Northwest. After temporarily leaving the PNW (spent a year in Salt Lake City), I just moved to Washington to attend graduate school.
PHILOSOPHY
"Everyone you will ever meet knows something you don't." (Bill Nye) Just something to always keep in mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted quite a bit while living in Salt Lake City and surfed while living and traveling in Europe, but for the foreseeable future I probably won't be doing much of either. I would love to meet up with people passing through though!

Movies: Into the Wild, Lost in Translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Dead Poets Society.
Music: Death Cab for Cutie, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, The National, Band of Horses, Young Statues, Brand New, The Paper Kites, Bon Iver, Radical Face, on and on and on.
Books: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Book Thief, Fight Club, The Outsiders, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Jonathon Safran Foer and Chuck Palahniuk are amazing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably one of the most beautiful things I've seen recently was at Arches National Park, when a lightning storm started just as the sun was setting behind it. It was incredible. The world's largest wind chime in Casey, IL was also pretty impressive.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play an easy song on the piano or make really good mac and cheese. But there are thousands of things I would like to learn how to do if someone wants to teach me.
