Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Northern California and studied in Southern California before finishing my degree in Sweden at Lunds Universitet. My love for traveling continues to grow as I experience life in more parts of the world — couchsurfing’s been a natural extension that’s added more (amazing) layers to my travels.
I always enjoy talking to people from different backgrounds in order to learn about their cultures and personalities as well as introduce them to a unique Asian-American perspective.
My ideal trip consists of meeting friendly people, having interesting conversations, eating delicious foods, shooting photos/videos, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying any type of live music or sporting event. Then sprinkle in some spontaneity and I’m in heaven.
A quote I travel (and live) by:
"The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are."
- Samuel Johnson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a big believer in bringing people from different backgrounds together so we could all learn from one another. Couchsurfing facilitates special interactions that are difficult to reproduce in other settings. The fact that there's a large, global community of people that's willing to share, without any monetary gain, is awesome. There's really nothing else like it.

Teach, Learn, Share
I usually have my camera on me so can teach you some photography basics. Although it's not very likely we'd have a drum set around, I'd be happy to teach you how to play the drums or even some basic digital music production on the computer. I'm always happy to talk philosophy, psychology, creative arts, and traveling as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully interesting conversations and good energy.
