ABOUT ME

I'm a young professional living in Huron, OH. I moved here about a year and a half ago from Chicago to take a new role in my company working on a construction site as a field engineer. It's definitely been an adventure and included some culture shock, but I love my job which is a major life bonus. Outside of that I stay active - running, biking, camping. One of my favorite things to do is telling lame jokes in crowded elevators. No one likes standing that close together so might as well make it fun!

I can go out for a late, dancing night now and again, but usually I would prefer a night at the pub with a good beer and good friends telling stories and sharing life over a night out at the club. I tend to gravitate toward active things.. going to concerts, sporting events, outdoors activities, or even just walking a neighborhood to explore. I don't sit still for very long.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we were created for more than most of us experience. We are loved beyond our wildest dreams if we only allow ourselves to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just came back to CouchSurfing after about a two year hiatus. I started a new job, had my brother live with me briefly and moved to a new state where I didn't have an apartment conducive to sharing space. But now I've moved to a 2 bedroom so I can offer couchsurfers their own room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few CouchSurfers stay with me and it has always been a blast. I love meeting new people and showing off my favorite local spots.
