I grew up in Korea, New Zealand, and the US. I do journalism and literary translation. I was lucky to backpack around the world for a year in 2009, and have travelled a lot since then too. I am based in Seoul now, and will return to America this fall.

I've surfed about a dozen times in New Zealand, Europe, Israel, Mexico, Japan, Brazil and the US. I've hosted about a dozen people at home in Seoul, Korea.
