Greetings! I'm a 27 year old Canadian living my family's homeland of Germany. I work for an international sports federation and am lucky enough to travel the world with my work for competitions. I love sports and am an avid runner - I always try to take a spin of the city and country I'm in. I truly believe sports are a microcosm of society and make the world a better place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first experienced Couchsurfing travelling in Ecuador with my partner, an avid user. We spent an awesome New Year's Eve experiencing local traditions and culture; in Ecuador, you build or purchase paper mâché mannequins and burn them at midnight (very unique and completely different than Canada).

I'm now on Couchsurfing to experience traditional cultures with locals further and to share this with others visiting my city and country!

Interests

I really love sports - between participating or watching, I really try to take in the sports culture in the cities and countries I visit. I'm always searching for a running race while I visit.

I really like drinking coffee, eating different foods and trying different craft beers, and enjoy sharing this with others.
