Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pequeña historia:

Conocí Couchsurfing la primera vez que viajé sola en México, fui a CDMX (soy del sur de México) sola porque quería ver una de las tradiciones mexicanas en vivo "El Grito de independencia" y nadie de mis amigos podía acompañarme. En el hostal al que llegué conocí a unos chicos de Costa Rica y me invitaron a ir con ellos a una reunión de CS que iban a verlo. Cuando llegamos al lugar de encuentro había unas 40 personas entre anfitriones, viajeros y de todo, todos con una gran actitud y apertura. Me sentí muy cómoda y acogida. Después del grito, terminamos en un bar de cumbias hasta las 6am que regresamos al hostal. Sobra decir que fue una noche maravillosa.

Viajando por México lo he usado muchas veces y siempre ha sido una experiencia positiva y enriquecedora, conociendo el estilo de vida tan diferente de cada persona. Así que ahora que viajo por Europa, quisiera encontrar y conocer las culturas y tradiciones de cada lugar que visito.

Me encanta conocer los lugares desde una perspectiva local y conociendo personas mágicas en el camino.

Little storytime:

I found out about Couchsurfing the first time I traveled alone in Mexico, I went to CDMX (I'm from the south of Mexico) alone because I wanted to see one of the Mexican traditions live "El Grito de Independencia" and none of my friends could accompany me. At the hostel I arrived at, I met a couple of guys from Costa Rica and they invited me to go with them to a CS meeting that they were going to join. When we arrived at the meeting place, there were about 40 people including hosts, travelers and everything in between, all with a great attitude and openness. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. After "El Grito", we ended up in a cumbia bar until 6am when we returned to the hostel. Needless to say, it was a wonderful night.

Traveling through Mexico I have used it many times and it has always been a positive and enriching experience, getting to know the very different lifestyle of each person. So now that I travel through Europe, I would like to find and learn about the cultures and traditions of each place I visit.

I love seeing places from a local perspective and meeting magical people along the way.

Mi película favorita es Eterno Resplandor de una mente sin recuerdos.

Música, difícil elegir, me encanta todo tipo de música, amo bailar, o simplemente escuchar mientras camino y fingir que estoy en una película, supongo que depende de mi estado de ánimo en el momento.
