Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surf and Host as much as possible! I've been hosting since 2007 and loved every minute of it. I can't always host, usually due to shared living situations, and the respect that requires. But I will whenever I can and I am always happy to meet up and steer people into the right direction!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a great time hosting many surfers over the last 7(and counting) years (where does the time go?) and I have had the chance to do a small bit of surfing too. I have never had a bad experience through CS, sometimes I didn't become best friends with the other members but even then I was happy to help out fellow travelers and they have all been nothing but polite. There are a few CS'ers out there that I do count among my closest friends.

Interessen

Everything out of doors. I love playing in the water, swimming, surfing, diving, free diving, wakeboarding, anything. I like to play like a little kid: Acro, slackline, skateboarding, running through fields, climbing tress and all that! I also love to cook great food for great people, reading (esp. in hammocks) and I love to meet new people and expand my perspective. Plus a bunch more... I have a lot of interests, life is just so interesting.

I am pretty sure partner acrobatics is the most fun you can have with your own body, be the playground!

Books:
The Giver, Walden, Ishmael, etc etc, I love books.

Almost everything, whatever suits the mood. Usually go for the more relaxed stuff and the classics...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Adventures. Every day is one and I love the people I meet along the way and the lessons I learn.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach. I love to teach people to do the things I love. I would gladly share any of my favorite activities with you. I try to make everyone I meet do a hand to hand... inquire within, ha!

Learn. I have never had the pleasure of white water kayaking... I would love it if someone took me down some rapids. I am just getting into rock climbing, so if that's your thing, I'd love to learn from ya!

Share. Food! I love to cook for people and to share meals especially the homegrown! Hawaiian style, I love connecting around food.
