About Me
ABOUT ME
I grew up in the UK but have spent a bit of time in Spain, Tanzania and most recently in South America where I came across the CS community and had my first couch surfing experience. I was travelling alone so it was great to meet up with people along the way!
PHILOSOPHY
Strive to be happy... [Desiderata]
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I stayed with a couchsurfer in South America who introduced me to the CS community! I am now hosting too. I like to attend and set up meetings and activities and can provide transport to and from events, etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although my CS experience is limited, I have still met so many remarkable, interesting, and friendly people through couchsurfing.
I have been shown exceptional hospitality in the group meetings I have attended abroad. I like to think that by meeting travellers in this country I am returning the favour but really it gives me the opportunity to explore my own country (and allows me to pretend I'm still travelling...)
Interests
Meeting people, being by the sea, travelling, spending time with friends and family, barbeques, drinking coffee, eating cake, learing other languages, making things....

Teach, Learn, Share
I have some experience of teaching English abroad so can help out with language learning. I am also always trying to improve my Spanish so I'd be up for conversation exchange too!
Can anyone teach me guitar?! I want to learn but am too lazy by myself! I can cook dinners in return... or do something arty (not sure what this could be...)
