ABOUT ME
Passionate couchsurfer: Sharing is caring!
PHILOSOPHY
Prove to other people that the world is a great and trustful place! For more trust and friendship in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm open to anyone, love hosting people, love cooking for other people (includes having a few drinks) and show people around Trier (still learning a lot about that place though).
Two short remarks to anyone interested in staying at my place (these might sound obvious, but seemingly not everyone is aware of) - Thanks to dear friend Máté Marodi who managed to express how I feel pretty accurately:
- CS is not a free/cheap hostel. If you are looking for "a cheap place to stay", there are other opportunities. To me, CS is rather a way to meet exciting people from all over the world, change ideas, share a meal together, teach each other new languages, etc.
- If I accept your request, it means that I arrange my schedule in a way that I can spend time with you, and in many cases I have to decline requests for the same dates.
That's why canceling a request in the last minute is pretty unfair toward fellow surfers and me. I know that things can happen: you don't get a hitch, you miss a train, you change your travel plans, etc. That said, think it over, if you'd like to come and let me please know in advance if you cannot make it.
Please keep these in mind before you send a request!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A lot, well, many in anyways. My Vienna flat has seen many visitors from Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Norway, the US, Canada, Switzerland, Estonia, Slovakia, Moldova, China, France, New Zealand, Austria, the UK and a couple more i suppose!! I have always anjoyed living with many people. Once we didn't quite coordinate the couchsurfers arrival dates so we (three girls living in two and a half rooms) hosted 2 Italians, 2 Americans, 1 Norwegian and 1 Swiss girl. And it was... FUN!!! FUN!!! FUN!!!

Music, Movies, and Books
The Horse Whisperer (Oh, how I wish I could go to Montana one day...), Brokeback Mountain, The King's Speech, Black Swan, The Pianist, Die Klavierspielerin, A Knight's Tale, Finding Neverland, Kids, Jerry Maguire, Goodbye Lenin, How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days, 40 days and 40 nights, Chocolat...
I Love Love Love the movie "Into the wild" (partly for the music, partly for the landscape and partly for the story)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving, meeting and being surrounded by a bunch of colorful fishes, the birth of a child, waterfalls in general, lighthouses (every time this new inspiring feeling of having the sea and complete freedom in front of you), sleeping in a park (i know, that's not interesting from today's point of view, but at that time it scared hell out of me ;-))
3 Months travelling through Canada and the US! THANKS to all the Couchsurfers who made this trip unique and unforgettable!! Countless trips through Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Indonesia) with a lot of happy memories!
