About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Why worry about missions? Just enjoy it all as best I can. And go... any(every)where. Oh yeah, catch waves, too.
ABOUT ME
I am.
That's the shortest description, coming from the tallest person you're likely to meet: I'm a lithe, goofy island boy who likes to travel, write, read, and cook. If I can combine all those, I'm doing well. Simply, I really try my best to have great experiences. What I think is even better is sharing great experiences with others. I've been helped by a lot of people, so I try to help a lot of people.
PHILOSOPHY
Drive with the windows down.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I can, I will put someone up. That's how it works, right?
Interests
Surfing (waves), Sailing, Free diving, Fishing... basically, if it has to do with the ocean, I'm a big fan. I also love good music, playing guitar, exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning constantly from my experiences and from those around me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Roots Reggae... Bob, of course, but there's plenty others; The Red Hot Chili Peppers; Classic Rock; Lounge; Smooth Jazz... you know what? If it's good, I like it.
Books: Steinbeck is big favourite of mine. But, "Wind From the Carolinas," by Robert Wilder, is my all-time favourite. If you like modern Lit, you have to read "The Fool's Progress" by Edward Abbey-it's a guy's book, for sure, but really funny, grabbing, and captivating. I also practice writing, myself, though I don't have anything on the shelves yet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When sailing a boat across the Gulf from Florida to Nassau, we awoke one morning to the Bahama Banks windless and beyond beautiful. None of us had ever seen water so flat, so blue. There was so little wind that we just jumped overboard and floated along with the boat, swimming down to the reefs below to play with fish and turtles. But the water, agh, the water... you could hardly tell where the sky and ocean met. That's when I took my profile picture. It doesn't do the day justice.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach? Learn? Share? The best way to do all of that is over a bottle of wine, or a home-cooked meal, or a day in the boat.
