Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am mostly interested in meeting people in one capacity or another... I currently have a house and will host whoever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a number of travelers in Hua Hin, Thailand though I have yet to surf another's place. Currently in Vieques for the winter. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with people on my own travels through this website and apart from it.

Interests

Nature, languages, cycling, running, facing fears, spy stories, street food, eastern europe in the '40s, quantum phsyics, doraemon, and entertaining stories. I like to encourage other people to travel and change...even if they don't want to. I need change.

Music, Movies, and Books

Very diverse musical tastes. from Seu Jorge, Idan Raichel and the Pharcyde to Hank Williams Sr. and Ryan Adams... and a little Chicha never hurt nobody. I like books and movies that consume me while I am consuming them....currently working my way through everything that McCarthy has written.. All time movies... hmmmm . Cool Hand Luke springs to mind. also love Werner Herzog's docs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach you how to play backgammon though I am likely qualified to impart something more academic your way. If you really want to study in the school of Ryan I would be willing to accept a lesson in knot-tying, basic dance steps for the ungifted or how to cook your favorite dish from your homeland in return!!
