About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To develop, support and sustain creative culture in Sydney

ABOUT ME

High&Dry is not one person in particular, but rather a whole group of people centred around the organisation of a brilliant little Festival called “High&Dry.” We're a not-for-profit, artist-run, sustainably focused event that will be happening in November.

Far from your average couchsurfing experience, we're offering an all-inclusive, action-smacked, mind blendingly exciting opportunity. You'll get a place to stay in Sydney (Newtown / Marrickville), and a place two hours North in St Albans where our festival is held – it's Aboriginal Land in an amazing valley, complete with river, guesthouse, vegetable garden and even the occasional kangaroo.

Our first mission to site was in July, and it was a load of fun. There was all manner of interesting work by day and bonfires and beer by night. Someone was even befriended by a goat.
