ABOUT ME
i was born in 1984, the first child of a young couple with traditional jobs and values. I was raised with a combination of conventional values and encouragement for unconventional beliefs.
I have loved foreign cultures and world history since childhood, and thankfully have had the ability to travel much.
When i travel i drink lots of coffee and write in my journal.
My trade expertise is in gardening and light construction.
but i am a gypsy and earn my keep various ways
I lived in austin the last seven years. I am in méxico now. I am going to Japan next week.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be as positive as possible and let the universe supply me with what I need without working too hard for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed twice now. This combined with wwoofing, oh my god! How great the world is!!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies...Lacho drom and gadjo dilo by Tony Gatlif, Black Cat White Cat by Emir Kusturica...I like well-acted, international movies.
I love Bollywood music, middle-eastern islamic and pop music, Nusrat Fatah Ali Khan, Indian classical, Tuvan thoat singing, Traditional Japanese music: shamisen, koto. I also love Django Reinhardt, as well as folk and blues from the U.S.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been put in many situations where weird meats were eaten. Living in Mexico for 5 months, pretty sweet. Trekking in the himalayas. 3 months living in a tent in the backcountry of the North American Rocky Mountains. Saw the red dusk settle over tepoztlán in the aztec highlands for the last time.
