About Me

"Life is not about arriving, but about traveling well", that's what I think, and that's why I'm on CS. I want to enjoy every single journey and want to learn, share and create connections along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because both meeting locals and being a host to travellers enriches the travel experience and brings the world together.

Interests

In sports I'm an amateur in the best sense of the word. I enjoy doing a lot of different outdoor and ball sports. Not the best in any, but with fun and passion - at the moment mainly running, climbing and football.

My musicality is similar, I would describe myself as a casual campfire guitar guy who is always keen to jam and go crazy. Not shy to play in front of people but not good enough to get paid for it. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
I enjoy listening to a lot of different kinds of music and like to be surprised by new bands, styles and sounds. As I'm playing guitar myself, I'd say I'm most influenced by the following musicians:
- Gregory Alan Isakov
- Tallest Man on Earth
- Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan & Bob Dylan

Books
My favourite authors are:
- Antoine de St. Exupery
- Haruki Murakami
- Franz Kafka

Movies
Mainly old movies & documentaries
I don't like watching tv, if I really want to see a movie I go to the cinema

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Carried around a stone in my backpack one month for no reason. Totally worth it.

And I puked in the Sahara.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook Austrian dishes, basic guitar skills, slacklining and of course Austrian-German.
At the moment I'm trying to learn the Cajón and would need some advise.
It would be really cool if you could show me your favourite running route!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share Meals, Stories, Music and I would love to be your hiking or running buddy!
