One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During August and September of 2010, I undertook the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage, a 1200km clockwise trek around the perimeter of Shikoku Island which makes stops at 88 different temples. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding things I've ever done, and was certainly life-changing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always eager to spread knowledge of Igo - the world's most complex board game. I'm far from pro (or even amateur competition) level, but I enjoy teaching the basics to people with interest.
Same thing goes for photographic/design/art theory, relationship psychology, and the Japanese language!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Knowledge about Japanese history and culture (both historical and present-day)
Veteran knowledge of the local nightlife scene
