About Me
Currently travelling around Europe with the 2month Interrail pass, after living in Berlin for a year!!!
So far, London → Glasgow → Edinburgh → London → Noordwijk (the Netherlands) → Amsterdam → Deventer → Bremen → Copenhagen → Oslo → Stockholm → Cologne → Luxemburg → Paris
And my plan is to go to, Spain → South France → Italy!!
I would love to go further if I have enough savings 😆
People with: crooked glasses, one foot bigger than the other, mismatched socks (don't worry I'm not a feet fanatic), pig laugh, or just travel lovers... Welcome to my place !
So I'm Hikaru Kawai, a small Japanese dude lost in a huge Japanese city (no jokes about my last name. Everyone knows that it's true 😜)
My work: trying to please the people who can't move their butt from the sofa.
Guessed? Well, it's not true, of course. I just work as an assistant director in the tv industry.
I work full time during the weekdays but I'm happy to hang out at night after work and also on the weekends!
Do you like meeting the locals??
I can take you to a nice cozy bar near my home!! Also, I love drinking!!!! So I hope you like drinking too! ;)
(Of course, it is fine even if you don't drink/don't like drinking though. Everyone has their own reasons 😊)
Do you like jazz music??
I know the best underground jazz bar in Tokyo!!
Do you want to experience more japanesey things and less touristy stuffs??
I can tell/take you to some events happening in the city!!
A little bit about me...
I like carrots. But no one cares about that 😂
I'm very open-minded (maybe too much for a Japanese hahaha)
I love making new friends (oh yeah, like everyone on Couchsurfing guys I know 😉)
Helping backpackers is a duty for me
I would love to travel more, in Europe to start with, so please guys, show me your culture ! (I'll cook for you some Japanese weird stuff in exchange)
Also i actually prefer hosting/staying with couchsurfers longer than just a night or two. Because Couchsurfing is all about meeting and getting to know the place and people, right??? I would love to really get to know you!
So don't hesitate to ask me to stay for a week or two! I'd actually appreciate it ;)
(I don't wanna be mean but since I get heaps of requests so I don't host people staying only 1 night. I kinda feel like a free hostel since I get so little time together)
And finally, I love getting massages. Priority goes to massage therapists. #justjoking
And as you can hear in the movie 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind':
"I'm just a fucked up guy who is looking for my own peace of mind."
