1. There are +75,000 hosts in Montreal. If you are requesting to stay with me, please give a reason why. It doesn't have to be an essay, but at least explain what in my profile is of interest to you , or why you think we might get along.
2. I don't accept copy/paste requests. If I decline your request without any reason, its because you haven't taken the time to write a decent message to the human being on the other side of this website - so you'll get an empty answer to an empty request.

I deliver babies for a living and it never gets old. I'm a part time cynic, full-time feminist and a rehabilitated perfectionist . I love plants and like to pretend I have a green thumb (current success-fatality ratio of my house plants is about 3:1). I am incapable of taking naps or sleeping in (as hard as I might try). I am a confused vegetarian who sometimes eats fish when I get too anemic, travelling, or within range of shrimp. The wisest person in my life is my black cat Myrkur. I am constantly seeking to be challenged, to dream big and dare as much as I can.

I've shared some of the best moments of my life with surfers: ideas, existential crises, picnics and pictures, fake pregnancies, cigarettes, amazement, wine, food and love at first sight, memories, music, tears and trivia, hidden corners and balconies, bike rides, dances, sick days...

Interests

chewing ( especially dried mango), summer storms, mason jars, discovering things that make me ask questions, the smell of rain and gasoline (preferably not together), sleeping outside, tea, hands, camping/canoeing/canoe-camping/hiking/canoe-hiking, dancing, biking, traveling, reading, essential oils, history, making connections, untangling the beautiful mysteries in languages, yoga, photography, physics, astronomy (and sometimes astrology), watching airplanes and people, long or lone train rides...

Books: I read 99% non-fiction, but the 1% fiction I read is 100% Ursula K LeGuin or Margaret Atwood
