The daughter of a country-boy and a city-girl, I live 6 miles from the centre of Edinburgh, where I can enjoy the best of both worlds. Walks in the countryside away from the traffic and non-stop commotion, but still only a short journey to everything beautiful Edinburgh has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is time to push myself out of my comfort zone, having been far too comfortable for the last couple of years! There's nowhere I don't want to go, and what better way to see the world than through the eyes of a local? I reckon it's only fair to return the favour if you can, too...

Interests

I love getting out with my dog everyday, and I've just started to learn to play the accordion. I'm quite eclectic in terms of books, music, films, etc - but anything travel-related always goes down a treat. Baking makes me happy, and I'm trying to make new things instead of always returning to the old favourites.
